Description

Artificial selection/selective breeding describes intentional breeding for certain traits, or combination of traits. Artificial Selection can also be unintentional. Pigs are artificially selected by man to produce the largest amount of meat. Artificial Selection is where we choose two different animals with different traits that are both good, and we find useful and we breed them. Artificial selection is the process of changing the characteristics of animals by artificial means.
